You should search for the MSP name first in, MSP files have a level of indirection in the registry. Stored to a text file that is processed with a registry search. This search should be script-able with a dir WINDOWS\Installer /d output There will be a " ProductName" field next to it that will give you an association. The key will usually match in a subtree against the " ProductIcon" name. Similarly, in the registry path " HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\", The key would be placed in the Installer sub-tree on the name ENU_GUID. The key can be searched within the " HKLM\SOFTWARE\" tree You can search for the sub-folder name (without the braces ) in the registry. Administration -> Network Settings -> MySQL server -> Link to The phpMyAdmin now shows up - hopefully it will even work. The " WINDOWS\Installer\" folder has several key sub-folders. Is this company going to move forward, or just settle for this poor performance? Going back into the administration interface. Is that so much to ask, it took me 4-5 minutes to write this? Oh, and having just tried to login and dump this procedure into the QNAP wiki the wiki login does not work with QNAP forum logins/passwords.
To install the downloaded phpMyAdmin file goto: Administration -> System Tools -> System Update -> Browse, select the file, and then -> the system come back with a link to phpMyAdmin, saying nothing about having installed it and giving no status? Specifically, I want to know the supported way from QNAP as to how to load that file onto my QNAP system. In the QPKG web page it says: * To install QPKG, go to "System Update" and click "Browse…" to select the QPKG file. The file that was served was phpMyAdmin_2.11.4.zip.
* There is a QNAP wiki entry for phpMyAdmin installtion, but it is blank.
> Menu opens up to show download for all NAS models, but it should say what it is, version, etc. Administration -> System Tools -> QPKG -> Get QPK (which brings up a new QPKG window) QPKG, click on phpMyAdmin. My question involves how to do a fresh install for phpMyAdmin, either with IPKG or QPKG? Specifically, what file do I download from where? So far what I have done is to go into the administration interface. > In the Qweb share you then place your phpMyAdmin. When you've placed the files at the proper location, you can access the webpages by simply typing Fribse, If you check my original post you can see MySQL and PHP are there and working.
I won't recommend using Windows Explorer to do it, as it will probably complain about some filerights when you try to access it afterwards. If not, you can download your own phpMyAdmin, and unzip it, and then move it to the Qweb share either via FTP (requires that you've activated the ftp server) or WinSCP (requires that you've activated SSH). If you wish you can use the QPKG package for the TS-409, that will do it for you, and configure it properly. In the Qweb share you then place your phpMyAdmin. Secondly you have to make sure that the MySQL is running. The webserver will without any hacking serve pages located in the Qweb share (oh, do check that it's not already there, remember that linux is case sensitive). Well, there are the easy way, then there's another easy way, and uh, it's sort of easy First of you have to make sure that you have activated your webserver.
